ABOUT THE AREA
Starting from Norden carpark opposite the Norden Jubilee Park, (on A680 Edfield Road) is a short walk down Blackpits Road into the Naden Valley. The Naden Brook winds it's way through glorious leafy woodlands, with some spectacular waterfalls on route. It's a watercourse descending from the hills above Norden, then flowing through the valley towards South Heywood revealing the most scenic views on route and spectacular waterfalls. One particular waterfall, possibly a weir, is close to a disused mill and barely visible.
After an ascent rising above the Ashworth Valley gorge, there were steep drops into the ravine below which required careful footing, but plenty of warning signs advising of the dangers of a drop about 40 ft or more below. Our route then ventured out into open fields with horizon views of various suburbs surrounding Manchester and beyond. The Contrasting scenery through farmlands and various terrains made this walk an enjoyable experience.

ABOUT THE FILMING
It was perfect weather for filming, but there's always the possibility of the unpredictable happening during my filming. This was no exception, there were a pack of husky type dogs charging towards me on a very narrow path. Fortunately, all were friendly except for one dog intent on following me in the opposite direction to the others. No problems however, once he was aware of going in the wrong direction. (In video photo below, It looks as though the face mask has slipped) !

ABOUT THE SOUNDTRACK MUSIC -
The music for the Naden Valley film is a piano arrangement. Most of my piano
compositions tend to evolve in different directions. 'Out Of Touch' developed into a laid-back lilting style suitable for a relaxing video walk. The title reflects how easy it is to loose touch with nature and the countryside.
Title : 'Out of Touch'
Style : Easy Listening
